Wheeler Wolfenden And Dwares, CPAS Welcomes New Staff Accountants


Pike Creek, DE (August 21, 2020) – Wheeler Wolfenden and Dwares, CPAs is pleased to welcome three new staff members to our growing full-service accounting firm.

Sophie Gan, CPA has joined WW&D’s audit and tax department as a Staff Accountant. Gan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a second major in Accounting from Washington University, College of Arts and Sciences in St. Louis and a Master of Accountancy from The George Washington University School of Business. Prior to joining WW&D, Gan also completed her B.S. in Nursing from Thomas Jefferson University College of Nursing before returning to accounting. Gan has diverse experience in not-for-profit, federal, and state and local tax.

Emma van Golen has joined WW&D’s audit and tax department as Staff Accountant. Van Golen is a recent graduate of University of Delaware where she earned a B.S. in Accounting and Marketing from the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics. While at University of Delaware, van Golen served as the Senior Editor for Her Campus, Treasurer of American Association of Women at UD, and Vice President of Puppy Raisers of the University of Delaware, The Seeing Eye.

Connor Dalphon has joined WW&D’s audit and tax department as Staff Accountant. Dalphon earned a B.S. in Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from University of Pittsburgh. Prior to joining WW&D, Dalphon worked as a Payroll and Billing Specialist in the healthcare industry.
